IBM Announces a major new release of the i5/OS operating system

IBM has announced the introduction of a major new release of i5/OS in 2008, with a wide range of enhancements that include major new security, business resiliency and virtualization capabilities. i5/OS security enhancements will help companies protect vital data by encrypting backups to any tape device as well as files stored on disk.
