How does implementing technology in the warehouse impact the rest of your business?  How can you think about the business strategically and how to make a difference for customers?

For our first quarter 2007 webcast, we returned to the popular subject of warehouse productivity.  Improving inventory control.  Doing more with less.  Saving space.  Improving customer service.  Controlling labor costs.  Sound familiar?  In a recent survey of Wholesaler-Distributors these topics were frequently named as being top concerns.

In an open conversation led by Jon Schreibfeder, President of Effective Inventory Management, panelists who have implemented warehouse management systems shared their perspectives and answered questions about their experiences.  Craig Courter is VP of Operations at CourterCo, a leading supplier of hinges, drawer slides, lazy susans, visual hardware and laminate.  Jack Buecker is Supply Chain VP for Skidmore Sales and Distributing, a distributor and broker of ingredients for food processors and manufacturers.

ABOUT THE PANEL DISCUSSION LEADER Effective Inventory Management, Inc. is dedicated to helping distributors provide outstanding customer service while maximizing the return on their inventory investment.  Jon Schreibfeder, president of Effective Inventory Management, Inc., "grew up" in a family-owned pipe, valve, and fitting supply house.
